What is tooth decay?
Tooth enamel is hard yet porous. Plaque on the surface of your teeth can produce acids that seep into the pores (rods) of the enamel and break down its internal structure. This process, call demineralization, can create weak spot on the surface of the tooth that may become a cavity if left untreated.

It's so awful to have tooth decay! It can really disturb you in your work and even during your sleeping hours. The result is, you're not in any mood to smile. Yeah, everyone knows that brushing is important to keeping our teeth clean and avoiding bad breath and tooth decay problems. There are instances when brushing can't reach the area between your teeth. Flossing is a good option in removing bits of food stuck between the teeth.
